An inside bet in Roulette is placed within the number grid area on the table, directly on specific numbers or on the lines separating them. It covers fewer numbers, so it wins less frequently than an outside bet, but in return, it pays more: between 5 to 1 and 35 to 1 depending on how many numbers the chip covers.

Difference Between Inside and Outside Bets in Roulette
Inside bets are placed on the numbers within the grid and cover between 1 and 6 numbers; outside bets are placed in the boxes on the edge of the table (red/black, even/odd, dozens, columns) and cover large blocks of numbers.

Inside Bets Payout Table
These are the payouts for the five types of inside bets in Roulette. The payout is the same for European, French, and American roulette; what changes is the probability of winning, which is lower in American roulette because its wheel includes an additional double zero.

A payout of 35 to 1 means that for every unit wagered, you receive 35 units in winnings plus the original bet: a 1 € chip on a winning straight up bet returns 36 € total.
Straight Up Bet in Roulette
The straight up bet is an inside bet in Roulette that covers a single number and pays 35 to 1. It is the highest paying bet on the table and also the one that covers the fewest numbers.
To place it, drag the chip directly onto the center of the chosen number’s box, without touching the side lines. The zero (and the double zero in American roulette) also accept straight up bets.
Split Bet in Roulette
The split bet, also called semiplena or “on the line,” is an inside bet in Roulette that covers two adjacent numbers on the grid and pays 17 to 1.
To place it, position the chip on the line separating the two numbers, either horizontally or vertically. Example: a chip on the line between 24 and 27 covers both numbers.
Street Bet in Roulette
The street bet is an inside bet in Roulette that covers the three numbers in a complete horizontal row and pays 11 to 1.
To place it, position the chip on the outer edge of the row, at the end of the line of the three numbers. Example: a chip at the end of the 13–14–15 row covers those three numbers.
Corner Bet in Roulette
The corner bet, also called square or cuadro, is an inside bet in Roulette that covers four numbers forming a square on the grid and pays 8 to 1.
To place it, position the chip at the exact point where the four boxes intersect. Example: a chip at the intersection of 8, 9, 11, and 12 covers those four numbers.
Six Line Bet in Roulette
The six line bet, also called double street, is an inside bet in Roulette that covers six numbers from two consecutive horizontal rows and pays 5 to 1. It is the inside bet with the lowest payout and the one that covers the most numbers.
To place it, position the chip on the outer edge of the table, over the intersection between the two rows. Example: a chip between the rows 31–32–33 and 34–35–36 covers all six numbers.
How to Place an Inside Bet in Roulette
Follow these steps to place any inside bet on a Roulette table:
- Open the Roulette table and wait for the message Place your bets to appear.
- Select the chip value you want to use from the bottom bar on the screen.
- Place the chip in the position corresponding to the bet type: on a number for a straight up, on a line for a split, at an intersection for a corner, and on the edge of the row for a street or six line.
- Review the total amount shown in the Total Bet field before confirming.
- Wait for the message No more bets, which closes the betting period and launches the ball.
You can place multiple inside bets in the same round and combine them with outside bets; each is settled separately according to its own payout. If you remove the chip before betting closes, the amount returns to your balance; once the message No more bets appears, the bet can no longer be modified or canceled.
