Outside bets are bets placed outside the main number area on the Roulette table. They cover broad groups of numbers and, although their payouts are lower than inside bets, they offer a higher probability of winning.
What is a column bet?
A column bet covers 12 numbers in one of the three vertical columns on the board. Its payout is 2 to 1.
What is a dozen bet?
A dozen bet covers 12 consecutive numbers. You can choose from:
- First dozen: numbers 1-12.
- Second dozen: numbers 13-24.
- Third dozen: numbers 25-36.
Its payout is 2 to 1.
What is a color bet?
A color bet involves betting that the winning number will be red or black. It covers 18 numbers. Its payout is 1 to 1.
What is an even/odd bet?
An even/odd bet involves betting that the winning number will be even or odd. It covers 18 numbers. Its payout is 1 to 1.
What is a low/high bet?
A low/high bet is divided into two options:
- Low: numbers from 1 to 18.
- High: numbers from 19 to 36.
Its payout is 1 to 1.
