At Betano, you can choose from three main types of bets: single, combined, and system. Each has a different structure and a specific way of calculating winnings.
What Is a Single Bet?
A single bet is placed on a single market or selection. If the selection wins, you receive the amount wagered multiplied by the odds available at the time the bet was placed.
What Is a Combined Bet?
A combined bet includes two or more selections within the same slip. The odds of all selections are multiplied together, which increases the potential winnings compared to a single bet.
To win a combined bet, all selections must be correct. If one selection loses, the entire bet is considered lost.
What Is a System Bet?
A system bet combines three or more markets and allows you to win even if not all selections are correct, unlike a combined bet. The winnings depend on the number of correct selections.
You can choose from different types of systems, for example:
| System | Selections Required | Minimum Hits to Win Anything |
|---|---|---|
| Trixie | 3 | 2 out of 3 |
| Yankee | 4 | 2 out of 4 |
| Heinz | 6 | 2 out of 6 |
How Do I Choose the System Type When Building My Slip?
Follow these steps to set up a system bet:
- Add at least 3 selections to your slip.
- Go to the Combined section at the bottom of the slip.
- Select the available system type (for example, Trixie, Yankee, or Heinz).
- Set the amount to wager.
Example of a System Bet
If your slip has 4 selections and you choose a Yankee system, you win if at least 2 of the 4 selections are correct. The final payout depends on the odds of the correct selections and the amount wagered.
